We know that after an injury life can feel overwhelming. Medical bills are piling up, you're missing work, and the insurance company is pressuring you to settle for less than what's fair. You might feel confused, outmatched, and unsure of where to turn. That's why we're here.
At Nelson, Rozier & Christenson, we've been fighting for the injured in Visalia and the surrounding areas since 1982. For over four decades, our mission has remained the same: to help our neighbors rebuild their lives after accidents have turned their world upside down.
For us, this work is personal. We're not just attorneys; we're members of this community. We were raised here, live here, and care deeply about the people we serve. When you hire us, you're not just getting a law firm. You're gaining trusted allies who will stand in your corner every step of the way.
We take pride in handling the stressful details, from paperwork and policies to legal processes, so you can focus on healing. Our goal is simple: to secure the full compensation you deserve. You'll never receive a bill from us unless we recover compensation for you. That includes our time, court fees, and expert witnesses. We're confident in our ability to win because we've done it time and again for clients just like you.
Our team's experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants gives us an edge. We understand how defense attorneys think and use that knowledge to build the strongest possible case for you. More than anything, we believe that everyone deserves an advocate when the odds are stacked against them.
If you're looking for attorneys who fight tirelessly, treat you like family, and understand what's at stake, you've come to the right place. At Nelson, Rozier & Christenson, we're here to stand up for you and help you get the justice you deserve.

Jeffery S. Nelson, founding partner of NRC Law, retired after over 30 years serving the people of the Central Valley. Mr. Nelson was a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation only organization that is only open to attorneys with more than 10 civil jury trials. He was the longtime attorney for Kaweah Delta Hospital District, fighting to protect the interests of the local taxpayers in keeping medical costs down by winning lawsuits brought against the hospital that would have caused medical prices to skyrocket.
Clayton J. Christenson graduated from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University Magna Cum Laude after spending each semester of law school on the Dean’s List due to his stellar grades and achievement. He passed the California Bar Exam during that same year.

Ryan T. Nelson takes over NRC Law as owner and continues the fight to help Central Valley residents navigate the difficult world of insurance claims and restitution after a car accident, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, or other personal injury.
Clayton J. Christenson, owner and partner in NRC Law, is made junior partner after successfully litigating cases for his San Joaquin Valley clients with monetary settlements in excess of a million dollars. As a personal injury attorney, Mr. Christenson works tirelessly in Visalia, Porterville, Goshen, Tulare, Hanford, and everywhere throughout Tulare and Kings Counties to make sure that injured parties are justly compensated for their losses.
Nelson, Rozier, and Christenson moved from their offices on Caldwell to their current location in Willow Plaza, adjacent to the historic and vibrant Visalia downtown area and close to the Kaweah Delta Medical Center for easy access to recovering family members of accident victims.
Clayton J. Christenson becomes full partner and owner with Ryan T. Nelson of Nelson, Rozier, and Christenson, and the business name is changed to reflect this new status. Both attorneys continue their work in the personal injury in the Central Valley of California helping clients after car and motorcycle accident injuries, dog or other animal bites, wrongful death losses, and all other areas of personal loss and difficulty.

We had the pleasure of working with Clayton from Nelson & Rozier and he was such a helpful and reassuring lawyer. Clayton worked hard to get us our settlement in a short amount of time. Thank you Nelson & Rozier, and a big thank you to Clayton.
From our initial meeting right after my car accident, both attorneys explained the process for my case and kept me comfortable and in the loop. The case was settled very quickly and I was 100% pleased with the entire outcome. I would recommend them. Class act attorneys.
